Esposizione permanente del Maestro Oscar Piattella\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/cultura.gov.it\/luogo\/i-muri-esposizione-permanente-del-maestro-oscar-piattella\">https:\/\/cultura.gov.it\/luogo\/i-muri-esposizione-permanente-del-maestro-oscar-piattella<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The rooms devoted to the works of Oscar Piattella are located within the museum complex, in continuity with the Museo Archeologico e della Via Flaminia and the Museo della Turba. The spaces occupy the architectural complex of the former thirteenth-century convent of Sant\u2019Agostino, acquired by the Municipality of Cantiano on 30 January 1869. Adjacent to the convent complex are, on one side, the church of Sant\u2019Agostino, with its quadrangular apse and fine Romanesque portal, and, on the other, the public Teatro Giuseppe Capponi, built by the Municipality around 1925, subsequently completely renovated and enlarged, and reopened to the public in 1979 (capacity: 300 seats).<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition spaces of the museum complex devoted to contemporary art currently house a corpus of seven works by Piattella, including in particular:<br \/>1) <em>La grande tavola della terra<\/em>, 1980\u201381, mixed media and various materials on panel, 200 \u00d7 660 cm;<br \/>2) <em>Grande tavola per l\u2019assenza di un riflesso<\/em>, 1979, mixed media and various materials on wood, 162 \u00d7 423 cm;<br \/>3) <em>I licheni dell\u2019alba<\/em>, 1980\u201381, mixed media and various materials on wood, 315 \u00d7 353 cm;<br \/>4) <em>Ara della presenza<\/em>, 1980\u201381, mixed media and various materials on panel, 340 \u00d7 318 cm;<br \/>5) <em>Ara della presenza<\/em>, 1980\u201381, mixed media and various materials on panel, 340 \u00d7 318 cm.<\/p>\n<p>These works were the subject of a degree thesis (Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Urbino), from which the essay Di-segnare i muri del tempo e dello spazio.
