Copyright in the Works of Oscar Piattella

The Archivio Oscar Piattella is the sole and exclusive holder of the economic rights in the works of Oscar Piattella (whether owned by the Archive or by third parties) and in their reproductions.

Accordingly, any use of the works of Oscar Piattella and their reproductions – irrespective of the form or manner in which such use is made, whether the work is used in whole or only in part, and whether permanently or temporarily – is permitted exclusively with the prior authorisation of the Archive.

In particular, and by way of example, the following uses are subject to the prior authorisation of the Archive: photographic, cinematographic and/or digital reproduction of the works; the publication, communication and/or dissemination, including via the Internet, of images of the works; and the reproduction of images of the works in auction catalogues or other publications.

Under no circumstances does the Archive authorise the reproduction and/or publication of the reverse of works by Oscar Piattella.

Authorisation may be requested by sending an appropriate communication to the Archive (in copy) and to S.I.A.E., specifying in detail the terms of the intended use (purpose, manner, duration, etc.).

Any use of the works of Oscar Piattella or their reproductions that does not comply with the above is prohibited and will be subject to the penalties provided for under applicable law.

This is without prejudice to cases of permitted free use, as governed by the Italian Copyright Law (Law no. 633 of 22 April 1941), provided that such use is made within the limits and under the conditions established therein.

The contents of this website, including texts, captions and images (without prejudice to any rights held by the photographers/authors), are the exclusive property of the Archivio Oscar Piattella.

The reproduction, including partial and/or temporary reproduction, of any content of the website for purposes other than those permitted is prohibited and entails liability under applicable law.
